What is Central Station Monitoring?

Digital Monitoring is when your burglar and fire systems are enhanced by the installation of digital equipment inside your system. This equipment is then connected to a phone line. In the event of an emergency, or other situation, the system will alert the Central Monitoring Station. An experienced, trained operator will respond to the situation and consult the call list you have created. Central Station Cancellations

Call Us First
In the event you need to cancel your monitoring service, because you are moving, or for any other reason, please call us first to see what would be the best way to handle the situation. In some cases, we will leave the service on until the new owner moves in, or we will suspend rather than cancel the service. No cancellations are ever accepted with just a telephone call.  We will be glad to mail you a form to complete or just a signed note from you is acceptable.

In Writing Only
When you call we will make whatever arrangements you prefer. We request a written and signed request for cancellation. These requests are kept on file for your protection as well as ours.

Digital Communicator Removal
When, and if, your monitoring is discontinued, we cannot just “shut it off” or “stop calling” on your behalf. We must remove the digital communicator. After we receive your written request, we will call your alarm panel and remove the call out program or walk you through unplugging the necessary cords. Call to discuss your options.

Insurance Company Notification
When a system is no longer monitored by our central station, we must notify your insurance company to remove the qualification for a discount on your homeowner’s insurance.

The best time to call with any changes is between 9 am and 3 pm on weekdays!
