I'm afraid I can't afford one. How much does a system cost?
Since every system is individually designed, it is difficult to say. However, with Security Team, you can start with a simple basic system that will grow as your family needs grow. Just talk to us about your budget and the Security Team Consultant will discuss the different ways to tailor systems to meet your needs.
Some national alarm companies will quote prices over the phone. But, keep in mind, they only sell their own equipment and you will be locked into high monthly monitoring contracts for years. Security Team uses state of the art equipment to fit your needs and a UL listed 24-hour, New England based Central Monitoring Station with some of the lowest fees in the industry.

How can I pay for my system?
Security Team accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, check and cash.
What about the monthly fee - how does that work?
Central Station Monitoring for residential customers can start as low as $17 per month for monitoring of burglary, fire, panic, medical emergency, high/low temperature, high/low water, power failure and low battery. It is your choice to be invoiced quarterly or annually for the service.
For commercial customers, Central Station Monitoring can start as low as $21 per month.

I'm a little worried about having a system, is it hard to use?
Our systems are very user friendly, they can be armed with the push of one button and disarmed with a four digit code. Some systems can be armed and disarmed with a remote that fits on your key chain. The manufacturers keep your entire family in mind when they design them so your school aged children should have no trouble operating the system, too.
Will I be able to walk around the house when the system is armed?
There is no reason to feel like a prisoner in your own home. Most systems can be armed in the “home” mode so you can walk around inside without worrying about causing an activation.

I just bought a new house and it already has an alarm. Can you monitor it for me?
The answer is YES. In most cases, the panel can just be reprogrammed. Other times, we may need to make some equipment adjustments.
I am selling my house, can I take the system with me?
Typically, once a system is installed, it becomes part of the real estate. Security Team recommends you discuss this with your real estate agent first.
